Captain Woodrow Cahill, SASS # 54363
Ran across this while looking for a 9mm carbine. AR style & similar controls, uses Glock mags with the option of others for pistol interoperability, and not outrageously priced ... http://www.justrightcarbines.com/ Anybody have any experience with these? I haven't seen any at any shows or shops, and was wondering if these are just so much vaporware?
Jack Houston # 35508
Shot one not long ago, Great Gun!! Early models had problems but that seems to be solved now.
DocWard
I have no experience with them, but I found their homepage layout interesting. Look at this one: http://www.midwestsurvivalsupplies.com/ Since Just Right Carbines is located in New York, and the other in Springfield, Ohio I'm guessing there isn't a connection. I'm pretty sure for other reasons as well, but I won't go into that.
Captain Woodrow Cahill, SASS # 54363
Interesting comparison Doc. Looks like they were working from the same template, or just hired a lazy web designer who recycles designs. Might have to give that LDB Company a call ... http://ldbsupply.com/ ... since they claim to be the distibutor. And Dayton isn't that much of a drive from here. Pulp, SASS#28319
Mike Bellivue has a youtube video, shooting the .40 caliber. Looked interesting. I read one review that complained about the bolt not holding open when empty, and very difficult to field strip for cleaning. Here's Mike's video:

Coffee
Looks like a solution looking for a problem to me. I could probably convince myself that I have he appropriate problem. or I could use the argument that I've picked up a lot of 40 S&W range brass and I need something other than my CZ and Steyr to make smoke and noise. Tom Bullweed
Olympic Arms makes a series of carbines in 9mm, .40 S&W, 10mm and .45 ACP using modified Uzi mags. The list for $820 and can be found for $740 on-line. They use a standard AR lower. I keep trying to 'justify' a 10mm version for field work and zombies.
