Utah Bob #35998 Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Suppose I was vacationing in Europe, over in the Belgium, lets say around Flanders. And I came down with a bad cold and went to a local doc. Lets say I told him I was feeling a little phlegmish. Would I be misunderstood?
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 GROOOOOOAAAANNNNN! Good to see you back to yer ole self, Bob. We missed ya Pard.

Iron Pony Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Jeez Bob, you must still be on medication for something. But... as a youngster living in Germany we played baseball against a Belgian team that spoke flemish on the field. Even with an international team we couldnt have figured out what they were saying on a bet
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 It was probably a Flemish guard saying "We are Neutral" when the German Army drove through Belgium to get to France. "Hans, What was he saying?"
Marshal Rusty Bore SASS#22739 Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Gee Bob I've been flemish all my life. I didn't know I could see a doctor for it!
