So @Forty Rod SASS 3935 Would you make the gun and then come up with a cartridge to work in it?

Blaine Sergent worked at the P V & K Coal Company
Pat Riot replied to Subdeacon Joe's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
This is what my Dad expected from my Mom. We were children and taught only to be seen, not heard. I have never expected my wife to be like that. We have always treated each other as equals, as partners, as best friends. I am pretty sure if I was an adult in the 40’s I still would not have expected my wife to be like the rules in that “good wife’s guide”. -

9 mm loads with Bullseye and/or Unique?
Pat Riot replied to J-BAR #18287's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
I have never tried Unique or Bullseye in 9mm. If you ever want some good 9mm loads in W244, Universal or VV 3N37 let me know. Basically I am posting to bump -
There was another discussion of Buchanan Rides Alone? Did you know the idiot, Otto Korrekt, thinks “snd” and “anothrr” are words?

If a show has too much background noise that I cannot hear what is being said I let pass once. The second time I stop the show, give it a thumbs down and move on. Life’s too short for that sh**!

Notice the trigger finger position? It only took Hollywood, what, 60 or 70 years to follow suit and stop their bad displays of gun handling and idiot bravado.

I have been noticing that underlying ominous or annoying noise in the backgrounds of shows we’ve been watching lately on Prime and Netflix. We were watching “Condor” on Prime the other night and I kept hearing this background noise, not music, but noise. There was a segment of no dialogue that lasted for about 10 seconds so I skipped back to that, turned the volume way up then hit play. The sound was a track that I recall hearing years ago that was supposed to be “what hell sounds like”. Loud low range noise mixed with nearly audible screams of terror and despair. These noises and music are there to Psychologically manipulate your feelings. I’d like to manipulate the necks of some of these so-called sound editors and directors. Just a kink, like a kinked goose neck. Nothing fatal…I promise. Well, maybe a good kick in the cajones just as a parting gift. Still, nothing fatal. Ladies would get a pass on that parting gift…perhaps just a swift kick in the arse as they leave.

A "Marlin" Mares Leg by Chiappa
Pat Riot replied to H. K. Uriah, SASS #74619's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
@H. K. Uriah, SASS #74619 these aren’t SASS legal either but they are allowed in the Saloon. Image from: https://www.sigsauer.com/mcx-rattler-lt.html Mare’s Leg - a conceptual old timey PDW (personal defense weapon) 12 or so years ago I got to shoot a couple of Mare’s Legs. I think they were made by Rossi. To me, they looked really cool. In practical use though, they were fumbly and awkward. If I won one as a prize I would have fun with it. I probably wouldn’t but one though. -
Ah, I missed that, somehow. Thanks.

Anyone else having the screen go white while on the Wire?
Pat Riot replied to Pat Riot's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
Yes, i should have been clearer. Blank, not white. By the way, why does the Wire have to have this Euro Psy-Ops lack of coloration? White, med blue and gray are the colors of the pasty minded idiots that think these colors are appealing for making online sales. -
Are those AI created images? Some things just don’t look right.

That’s like when you see a headline in California that says “California man committed (fill in the blank)” the person usually isn’t from California at all. He’s more than likely from Mexico, Honduras, Equador, El Salvador or some other country south of the border. They rarely seem to be from California.

Anyone else having the screen go white while on the Wire?
Pat Riot replied to Pat Riot's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
I think a cabal is monitoring my SASS Saloon activities and now that they know I am suspicious they are upping their game. They brought in a 14 year old to make their snooping more seamlessly and without screen aberrations. Yep, that’s gotta be it. -
…from a single piece of wood.

Anyone else having the screen go white while on the Wire?
Pat Riot replied to Pat Riot's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
Yes. Safari. The thing is I use Safari for other forums and I have no issues with them. It’s funny, ever since I posted my first post above the problem hasn’t occurred. It figures… -
I had to go look that song up. Thanks for the earworm, by the way. I had forgotten that song existed. I never watch regular TV so no commercials for me. The only time I see regular TV is in Dr’s office waiting rooms and that is more than enough for me.

Oh Man, yes! A doorbell or knock at the door in a show created quite a ruckus at times.

Recently, maybe the past two weeks, I will be here in the Saloon when the Wire appears to do a reset. The screen will switch to all white with a “forums.sassnet.com” header. This will be this way for 5-15 seconds and then the page will reset to the page I was looking at. If I am in the middle of typing a post the system will save what I had written to the point of white out. No other website or forum I frequent does this. Only the Wire does this. Sometimes it will do it every few minutes. Sometimes not at all. I only use my iPhone for Internet access and I am pretty sure it isn’t my phone. Anyone seen this?

You’re making me hungry.

Coulda stopped right there. I cannot eat the stuff. Too many bad and sad memories triggered by the thought of corn bread. What’s funny is we always had bean soup with cornbread. Bean soup doesn’t conjure the same memories that corn bread does. Weird. We were very poor at times when I was a kid and especially when I was a teen. If you have ever eaten beans and cornbread every day for weeks on end in a hostile environment you’d probably dislike it too.
-
Oh, and @Alpo Yankees eat grits too. We just don’t tell you all down south about it so you all can think you have some kind of magic food known only to you and no one else in this country.
-
It’s like Lutefisk only less fishy and more grainy…Not really I love grits with butter, salt & pepper. I also love to have over easy eggs with bacon and grits and I mash the eggs up into the grits and eat it with bacon and toast while using a fork that tastes like buttery grits with egg yolk in them.
