They work well with coated and jacketed bullets. Wax lubed bullets will not work well.

Hell on Wheels was a fun shoot and well worth my drive up from Oklahoma. The stages were not P traps the targets were shootable and plenty of movement. I enjoyed the whole match. Thanks to The folks that worked hard to make Hell on Wheels an enjoyable and fun shoot.

I load 45 Colt for pistol using about a half case of Tripple 7 and cream of wheat filler under a 180gr RNFP smokeless lube bullet. I have a similar setup on my 650 to what Larson E Pettifogger uses.

.38 should get the job done. I have found the .357 and up too much gun for mushroom hunting. As they cause too much loss of edible mushroom meat.

Hud I would think the would be fine for CCFCGF. The are allowed in frontiersman and frontier cartridge. And also gunfighter if fixed sights. But that is up to the match director.

I plan to be there. CCFCGF sounds good to me.

Anytime two carriers interline it is a disaster. The UPS / USPS shipping that Midway uses is the worst. I think both UPS and the USPS try to make each other look bad when they interline. Either one on their own does much better. Our local FEDEX delivery drivers can't find an address two days in a row. If they don't have to have a signature they just throw the package at the door from the street. My last Dillon shipment was almost on the porch.

This Cap & ball Senior Gunfighter just put this on my calendar. Kitty and I had a great time this year.
