  1. Therein lies the problem. You have no way of knowing whether a gun is stolen or not until AFTER you buy it and have it run by either law enforcement or a local gun store which will also seize the gun if it's stolen. If the general public could check, it would solve various problems, including outing and/or catching purveyors of stolen firearms. I know that every time have purchased a firearm from a person unknown to me, there's always that nagging question running around in my mind 'Is this gun stolen or is it legit?'
  2. The punks stealing guns from vehicles and houses has become a real problem in Florida. It's usually juveniles doing the stealing, mainly from unlocked vehicles. I wrote to my local senator proposing the following: 5 year mandatory minimum sentence for knowingly possessing a stolen firearm regardless of age. 5 year mandatory minimum sentence for theft of a firearm regardless of age. 10 year mandatory minimum sentence for use of a stolen firearm in a crime regardless of age. 20 year mandatory minimum sentence for firing a stolen firearm during the commission of any crime regardless of age. 30 year mandatory minimum sentence for firing a stolen firearm during a crime resulting in injury regardless of age. Life mandatory sentence for firing a stolen firearm during a crime resulting in death regardless of age. Never heard anything back, not even a form letter. Edit - I also stated the need for a national stolen firearm database accessed by the general public to find out if a firearm is stolen so that private purchases can be made without concern.
  3. Back in the late 70's, there was a Clearwater movie theater that played the National Anthem while showing an American flag waving in the breeze on the screen before every movie. I got kicked out of the movie theater once for starting a fight with a pinko bastard that wouldn't stand up for it. I asked him (no so nicely) to stand up for the Anthem, he said f*** you. He stood up after I slapped him in the back of the head and turned around with his fists clenched so I gave him a punch in the jaw and that was the end of the fight. The usher told me that I should leave before pinko called the cops, I did...but not before the manager gave me a couple of free passes for future movies.
  4. They never seemed to head east, north or south...always west. I wonder how fast you'd have to travel for it to stay light out.
  5. The laziness is definitely not reserved for delivery drivers these days. Seems like it is very rare to find an employee that actually cares about or does their job. Seems like it's getting worse and worse every day...every thing from USPS to AAA insurance agents. Don't even get me started on UPS or FedEx drivers. There isn't enough space on the internet for me to relate the issues I've had with them.
  6. He should have been cremated...that's how my Pop Tarts always seemed to end up.
  7. A very sad commentary of the investigation process, or lack of I should say.

  11. What...no moat...not even a Koi pond?
  12. "Crime scenes" involving serious bodily injure get disturbed and contaminated by law enforcement/medical personnel on a regular basis. Person shot 14 times, yet still alive receives preliminary treatment at the scene and is then transported to the hospital where they die. Same thing with a drunk driving car crash victim, barroom beat down victim, hit and run, etc., etc. I'm pretty sure that it happens all the time. I really don't believe that law enforcement or medical personnel wait to help seriously injured people or check to see if the person is still alive just to preserve a possible crime scene. In the example given in the original post, how would Ducky and Gibbs know if the scene has been disturbed or not. They may be able to determine that it hasn't been disturbed in the few minutes but that's it. Bodies don't wash up on the beach above whatever level the tide was at the time of beaching and waves could have erased any footprints (or other evidence) from the scene. Their assumption that the crime scene is "pristine" is clearly presumptuous and quite possibly incorrect. For the record, I don't watch those shows and have never seen the episode mentioned.
  13. Why? Did you just need random holes within an 8' radius...maybe.
  14. Along the lines of I Just Want To Celebrate...some kick ass guitar from Johnny Winter...
  15. I don't see the correlation between the fictitious "Black National Anthem" and the support from certain members of the NFL, NBA, NASCAR and the NHL written support an anti 2nd Amendment proposal by Shumer. I can't say that I'm surprised by this as the NFL and NBA have become fully vested in the entire "woke" crap but I am disappointed that NASCAR and the NHL are dabbling in the same toilet water. A little more on this below. https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/why-are-woke-pro-sports-league-lobbying-congress-gun-control As far as the National Anthem goes, there is only ONE...The Star Spangled Banner. It is for all Americans no matter their skin color.
  16. That'll be the day. I'll wager to say that the NFL and/or NBC would have never allowed that commercial to be broadcast during the Swiftybowl.
  17. It was a good game, sorry the Niners lost...I knew that blocked PAT was going to comeback and haunt them. I've got nothing against KC but all of the Swift/Kelce hype and constant screen shots was disgusting and I can't stand the any of the Mahomes. Kelce was a complete ass in the 1st quarter for basically assaulting Andy Reid. I won't be watching any news today just so I won't have to see any of them ad nauseam. I refused to watch any pregame stuff except for the REAL National Anthem. The commercials were weirder than ever although the State Farm/Arnold and the DunKing commercial weren't bad. A few of them were downright disgusting and all of them were of the woke ilk.
