Good Evening Woodfox: If there are 6 SG targets, BEFORE you shoot the first one, load a 6th cartridge, close the loading gate & start shooting. If there are more than 6 SG targets, you can either load the extras on the clock, or bring a second shotgun-pistol, load te proper number of cartridges, and stage them both. Happy to have you join Lifer & I at Sandusky! --Dawg

One of the more impressive things I've seen in this sport was when a shooter named Lonesome Charlie Reynolds (now gone) showed up at a black powder shoot with his nephew. They called themselves "The Boom Brothers" and they both shot gunfighter with Walkers and Dragoons. It was fun to watch! And, yes, Uberti makes a very nice Walker. Had one when I was young & strong. Too Much Fun! --Dawg

Sprue should be facing up. If facing down, it messes with the accuracy. Imperfections on the base cause accuracy problems. A properly sized roundball follows the rifling as it goes down the barrel, and spins giving very good accuracy. A RB shot out of a smoothbore is not very accurate. --Dawg

Campcreek: The Firelands Website has transferred over to a new webmaster & a new server, and is currently under construction. The new webmaster is Dan Sumpter from Rochester Rod and Gun Dan is doing the best he can, but he was not familiar with the old website. I just sent a copy of the files to Boonie Young, and he will help Dan put it together, so please be patient, & it should be done soon. --Dawg
