I want to add my DIL to a pic that she wasn't in because she hadn't married my son yet.

 

She's part of the tribe now, though....thank God.

Just my opinion. Expensive, tedious to learn well, best to have someone do it for you.

Take the photos to a camera shop and tell them what you want.  Easy.

ON1 is a more reasonable alternative to Photoshop.
For starters, you can own ON1 outright... no subscription.

 

I've owned Photoshop CS6EE for a decade now without a hitch.
A few months back, mine quit working.
I contacted Adobe and they told me somebody in China registered my serial number.

I've had mine for a decade.
But Adobe invalidated it.
And that is it for customer loyalty.

Above is correct... I have MANY hours of learning curve and technique development in PS.
Send your one-off requirement to somebody who has the skills to do what you want.

You need the highest possible resolution images for it to work the best.
