Lawdog Dago Dom Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 Murders by Weapon Type: September 2024 Statistics (ammo.com)
Blackwater 53393 Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 Wonder how many of those “homicides” were justifiable!! People killed while in the act of a crime or killed in other “self defense” situations are still counted as “homicides” in most surveys and other statistic compilations!! NEXT!! How many were the result of “gang violence”?? While these are still, very much, homicides and most often involve firearms, should these not be at least acknowledged as a subcategory of some lower value?? Crime on criminals??? More information should be made available to the public, otherwise this is only slightly more than just another bunch of statistics!
Wild Eagle Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 Has nothing to do with crime or safety. They just want you disarmed. Never forget that.
Badlands Bob #61228 Posted October 22, 2024 Posted October 22, 2024 It's the Birthday parties. Most nights when I turn on the Atlanta News, they are talking about somebody getting killed at a birthday party.

Sedalia Dave Posted October 22, 2024 Posted October 22, 2024 Go look at the references. None cover the same time frame. They report is cherry picking data. The report has 2024 stats yet none of the referenced sources cover 2024. None of the references cover the same time period. I get that the report is trying to show that gun laws are ineffective but it uses the same method of cherry picking data that the gun control crowd uses.
