Profound

Recommended Posts

I was working part time at Bradley’s Barn, the Deca Records studio in Mt Juliet, Tennessee.  We were changing the studio from 16 channel stereo to a 64 channel quadraphonic system.

Burl Ives was the last artist to record on the old 16 channel board.  He was a nice guy.

The first artist to record on the 64 channel system was J. J. Cale!!  Also a very nice guy!

I didn’t dare play the video. That would stick in my head for days.
My youngest brother and my sisters played the 45 of that song daily until they wore it.

I love my sister!  She’s a liberal idiot and I don’t like her,  but I love my sister.
