Muggins Posted September 18 Share Posted September 18 I ordered some .38 and .45 bullets in April with an advertised 2-3 week wait to process/ship. I waited a full three months after my order before sending an inquiry asking about the status of the order and was told the .45 caliber bullets were "processing this week". I waited another full month after that email before sending a follow up email asking for a tracking number or a refund in the next 72 hours. I finally received a tracking number the same or next day. I probably wouldn't care if they didn't immediately charge my credit card for the order. Having someone take your money and then not communicate with your for over three months regarding a 2-3 week estimated processing time left me wondering if they were a legitimate business. Wild Eagle Posted September 19 Share Posted September 19 I have been using them for a couple of years now. I like the bullets and wish they had a larger selection. I buy all of my 38's from them, mostly 105 grain TCFP, and also my 9MM in 125 grain TCFP. It's a two-man shop, so they do get behind sometimes. And I agree that they could be better about communicating delays in shipping. I have not had to wait more than a few weeks longer than their standard shipping times though. I was beginning to think they weren't for real and that not only being out the money, the scammers my credit card number. You can text Don at their contact number ((972) 948-7858) and he is usually pretty quick in getting back to you. I try to stay ahead of being out because they are a little slow. He also told me that he had temporarily stopped taking orders on the website because he needed to find out how much lead was going to cost him. He's planning to keep making bullets, but with all of the sanctions etc.; with China cost of lead and antimony is going way up. He promised he would get my order done this week though.
