Barrel shortening

Does anyone know of a gunsmith within driving area of Peoria Illinois ( 75 miles) that can cut down and reinstall barrel and sight on a Ruger  S/S blackhawk

Oglesby and Oglesby's shop still in business, I see......They do fine revolver work.  May be a little pricey.

Wouldn't it be easier to get a new barrel from Ruger the length you want and just swap it?

Ruger doesn’t sell barrels individually.

I did not know that.

I did a quick check of Numrich, the do have some Blackhawk barrels listed for New Blackhawk, Super New Blackhawk, Old Blackhawk and Old Super Blackhawk.   Maybe one of those would do?
