Buckeye Pete, SASS # 29941
I've been shooting CAS since '98 with either a Marlin or a '73. Time has come to try out a safe queen, my old Rossi '92 in .38/.357. It was smoothed out by my buddy, Johnny Meadows and it runs pretty good. My question is related to the front sight. I checked the shooter's handbook related to the topic, and it talks about inserts of gold, ivory etc. Since my front sight is not dove tailed, those inserts don't seem to apply, can I put a dab of paint on the tip? Thanks for reading this!

Go West
I fastened a small primer with JB Weld after knocking the dimple out and notching one side. Works great for big and close.
