Rock River Arms .17 HMR

RRA will be releasing a semi-auto .17 HMR.

Gas-operated, roller blowback.

Not inexpensive, but I don't believe any other manufacturer has been able to produce a reliable, semi-auto .17 HMR.

The video also says they will be introducing a 22 WMR later this year, as it's only a barrel swap.

Savage has made the reliable A17 for at least 5 years.

Been a long time since I looked at 17HMR rifles.  Long time.  Last I remember, Savage had problems with the A17s they had released.

I have a 17 in Marlin bolt.  I use it to keep varmints out of out sheds. I don't feel it's a good killer.  I've had only one groundhog go down flat and stay down.  I've obviously hit maybe a dozen more to just run off. Others got multiple shots to end their destructive lives.
