Trigger Mike Posted October 31, 2023 Share Posted October 31, 2023 We have 3 dogs. 1 large male Anatolian shepherd , and 2 female yellow labs . The male is the outright alpha. He doesn’t like human interaction much except from my wife so she makes sure he gets first pick of scraps. everytime she gives him scraps the youngest female dog named Ellie Mae stands a couple of feet away and barks constantly. She tries to sneak a bite but he snaps at her. He continues to eat as she barks continuously. After a while he slowly walks away, and glances at her as he walks away and she finishes the food. I told my wife no wonder female dogs have the name they do. later , my wife was talking to me and going on and on so I called her Ellie Mae while smiling. I think she got what I meant.
