Hoss
10-10-6 plus. Scenario not important. Stage was boardwalk with 4 windows, 3 doorways. S S S S P P P S S R R R W1 D2 W3 D4 W5 D W shooters choice, rifle not last. Must shoot out of 5 positions I shot shotgun out W1 D2 D4 then rifle W 5 then pistol D4 instead of W3 earned the P no question. Realized it mid-way thru. The question came up could I have moved to 5th position at some point during the pistol string and saved the P? Since scenario did not require any gun to be shot from any specific window the argument was made that I could have moved, just as I legally moved with shotgun. What sayeth the wire? Two Dot, 14911
As long as you moved safely with hammer(s) down and shot at least 1 round from W3, there’s no call.
Griff
I'd have not penalized anyone for moving mid-string. No requirement for shooting an entire string from any specific spot.
Matthew Duncan
Yes, second pistol from 5th position.
PaleWolf Brunelle, #2495L
..^^^^^^^^^^^.. What they said. "minor" points of clarification: Location – a physical point on a stage (e.g., “behind the door….”) SHB p.43 Position – the posture and stance of the shooter (e.g., “the shooter starts with hands touching hat …”). SHB p.
