Come join the Lake Park Raiders for our Thursday Work Shirker Open Class CAS match! The match is on Thursday December 29, 2022 at the Western Reserve Fish and Game Association in Niles, Ohio. Website: www.wrfg.us Doors open at 9:00 am. The match starts at 10:00 am after the Pledge of Allegiance and a brief safety meeting. Coffee and donuts in the morning. A small donation is appreciated. Five fun-filled stages at last year’s prices. Bring all the cowboy guns: Lever gun, 2 six guns, and side-by-side shotgun. Side-by-side shotguns won’t break the rim on the plastic shot shells we use. If the rims are broken too much on the 12-gauge shells; the shells will slide down into the chamber causing light firing pin hits or getting stuck in the chamber hence causing re-shoots and miscellaneous havoc! That’s why SxS shotguns are best – no damage. Bring all the cowboy ammo: Lead and light cowboy loads. If you would like to shoot .22 caliber cowboy guns – it would be all right. Leave your shotgun shells at home! The club will provide 12 gauge and 20-gauge wax bullet shotgun shells, the ones that defy all the laws of physics and ballistics… A vivid imagination isn’t mandatory for our indoor matches, but it sure helps! Leave the gun cart home unless it serves a special purpose. Smokeless powder only! Sorry folks, no black powder allowed! Visitors and spectators are always welcome, but you must have adequate eye protection or shooting glasses and you must have adequate hearing protection. We hope to see you there.
