Marlin Buckhorn,SASS 51727 Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 I know the topic has been discussed many times before. Looking for the name of a machine shop that does it. Common and well known name, just can't remember it. Thanks for your help, Marlin
Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933 Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 You probably do not need or want a machine shop. You need to find a gunsmith that can ream the chambers. .327 is not terribly popular so you might have to rent a reamer and take it to a gunsmith as it would not be worthwhile for most smith's to buy a reamer for a one-off job in an unpopular caliber. https://4drentals.com/product/327-federal-finish-reamer/
Garrison Joe, SASS #60708 Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 You might be thinking of Alan Harton in Texas. Does tons of special single-action work. (713)907-6031 is Alan's shop number. good luck, GJ
Warden Callaway Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 DIY project. Rent a chamber reamer, a little oil, a T tapping wrench and a few minutes done.
