Larsen E. Pettifogger, SASS #32933 Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 I wondered how "Bluetooth" wireless got its name. Turns out it is named after King Harald Bluetooth a Viking King that died in 985. The Bluetooth logo is the Scaninavium rune for the king's initials HB.

I always thought the Bluetooth logo would make a great cattle brand. For a place called "Crossed Hatchet Ranch" or something like that.....
Buckshot Bear Posted August 1, 2022 Posted August 1, 2022 Reading up on Harald, seems like things didn't always go as planned......much like Bluetooth today.
