You could see Albert play for a crazy low ticket price of not more than $5.00. Minor League pay being what it is, he and his wife bussed tables at the Peoria Country Club. (Imagine being snotty to the guy who could now buy your country club and kick you out) We caught up with Albert in St. Louis for "Fan Appreciation Day." Our youngest son wore a Peoria Chiefs hat. When Albert came around he saw the hat and stopped and chatted for a while, and we got a few pictures. He said he really enjoyed his stay in Peoria, and thanked us for coming to St. Louis.
