Currahee
Back before ivory was outlawed, Paul was designated as Colt's official factory endorsed ivory engraver. Anybody know if he is still around. His designs were works of art.

Currahee
Thanks, article says he is back at work; but isn't the sale of ivory grips now illegal by federal law?
Buckshot Sheridan
Ivory is still legal to sell if you have documentation of it being acquired prior to the ban. Also if you were to take an elephant yourself from one of the several countries that it can be imported from as a hunting trophy you can still have it turned into grips. Crazy Gun Barney, SASS #2428
Just remember that some states have additional more restrictive laws than the federal.
