On The Power of Words.

Just saw a commercial, as usual didn't pay much attention to it.   I  guess it was about the importance of voting and coverage of the election by the press, showed a bunch of reporters on some steps and logos for various networks. 

One line did catch my attention,  "This election will determine the fate of our nation. "  And I thought,  "Geee ... just like every other election in our history. "

 

But the way it was written,  implying that there is something unique about this election and trying to make it more dramatic

funny how that always comes up - as if it never was a concern before , the "news" has proven to be propaganda , they never check facts anymore , they repeat the same tag lines that follow the agenda of the day , i wish there were "reporters" today that wanted to 'report' the days events but alas - i dont listen most of the time , there is little to "learn from it" , intended to sway the thinking of those that will not research and educate themselves , sound bites

The news networks sell drama.   The more they can dramatize an event, the greater 'they' think we will

watch and listen to them.

 

I think most of them are just a bunch of losers and have absolutely nothing to offer society.

I still think the most important election so far in my lifetime has been beating Hillary in 2016.  Nothing else has compared to the dangers that woman brought.
