Wapaloosie73
I say blinker. I say Warshington. I call my pickup a rig. Which caused arguments in the oilfield. They said a semi truck was a rig.... I said no, that’s a BIG rig. They had no answer fer that. Basically I talk like a pirate, you can never have enough R in yer words and if there ain’t none? Add em. I have no idea where this dialect comes from. Some folks correct me over the pronounciation of the state I’m living in. To that I ask em how long their family has been living here? Cuz mine were logging it before it was a state. I think they came from the Ozarks. To me everyone in North Dakota sounds Canadian. And everyone back east sounds quasi British. A car is a cah. People ask me if I’m from Texas sometimes. To me Texans kinda have that southern aristocrat sound that sounds like Leghorn the cartoon. They drop R’s as well. I don’t. Warsh. Torlet. Etc. Smuteye John SASS#24774
I use blinker. If you have all 4 of them blinking that's using your 4 way flashers or hazard lights. Those rolling basket things at the grocery store are buggies, too.

Ramblin Gambler
I'd run out of breath if I had to tell every idiot on the road it was called a "Directional turn signal indicating high visibility luminous lamp"
