El Hombre Sin Nombre Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Any idea if this will fit a 71/72 open top?
Prairie Dawg, SASS #50329 Posted February 20, 2019 Author Posted February 20, 2019 Hey Kid: I don't think so. The body of the cylinder is just under 1.5" because of the conversion ring on the RM. I believe the Open Top cylinders are bit longer because they have no conversion ring. --Dawg

And with such a beautiful cylinder, a bit of wishful thinking might have been involved on my part

And with such a beautiful cylinder, a bit of wishful thinking might have been involved on my part I only know because I bought it and sent it back; I thought it would fit the nickeled 1872 .44 I bought off Dawg. Just trying to save y’all some shipping.

Prairie Dawg, SASS #50329 Posted February 20, 2019 Author Posted February 20, 2019 If ya fired a round with that big cylinder gap, it would put on a spectacular show!
Colorado Coffinmaker Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 WOW!! If one had a 44/45 R-M on hand, with this cylinder and the barrel on offer, one could build a rather nice Snubbie just for the cost of an OEM barrel. KOOL!!
