Sedalia Dave
Like so many other things the BV 238 was too late to change the fortunes of WWII. However it could have made things interesting given that the East Coast of the united States was well withing its service range. Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
The terror value of actually reaching the American coast would have been enormous. However the likelihood that it could have happened is slim even if the war was going well for the Germans.

Redleg Reilly, SASS #46372
Not to mention that the Germans had zero capability to provide escort fighters for the lumbering monster if they sent them to the US.
Sedalia Dave
The terror and panic they could have caused with just one raid on a single coastal city would have diverted a lot of war resources. The impact would have been similar to what Japanese experienced after Doolittle's raid on Tokyo
