Tom Payne 13115 Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Hey folks a pard of mine needs to replace the firing pin on a SA he recently purchased. He is having a hard time narrowing down what company can supply the replacement. Any and all help is appreciated. It is a used gun and this is the info I have. It's a Dakota model in 45 Colt. He thinks it was built in 1985 by Armi San Marcos. The ser # is 78511 It has markings of CAT146 OL ??? Thanks, Tom Payne ya can send info to my email...truegrit45@hotmail.com This way I can forward the info to him Quote
Pat Riot Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Dakota revolver info: http://www.sackpeterson.com/models/dakota.html Maybe this will help. Also, Numrich Gun Parts doesn't have parts for Armi Jaeger. They only have barrels for Armi San Marco. If it's a clone will a Colt firing pin work? The Dakota is a "clone". Quote

Goody, SASS #26190 Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Dakota's were made by Jager, New Dakota's were made by ASM. I had a Dakota that broke The FP and I replaced with a Uberti FP IIRC. Quote
