Why don't you loan them your stock?

Just for the record, I have been making stocks for 5 years. I guess you were looking somewhere else.

The length of the stock matters little when duplicating. It is very easy to add wood on the end temporarily in order to duplicate.

I always leave mine long so they can be cut to the desired length.

The more difficult part comes when the stock is badly broken and missing wood.

Ace is a very gifted woodworker, IMHO, of course. If I needed a stock and forearm I'd have him build them instead of trying to do it myself.

Our standard stock wood is significantly better grade than factory stock wood and is Carlo Walnut.

Price is $125.00 for butt stock and $75.00 for forestock .

To our best grade walnut.

Better grades are available all the way to solid burl. (Not recommended for guns that are used.

I also have -

English Walnut

Myrtle

Curly Maple

I have access to some beautiful Marado wood that I have to laminate. It is so GORGEOUS!

And I was drooling of some New Guinea Rosewood but it is a bit heavy.
