How about the other Cleveland Pro teams? Gladiators, Fusion? Monsters? Rovers? Jaybirds? Knockers?

I know the Cleveland Monsters won but they're not in the NHL. I don't follow them or the other teams mentioned! Knockers?? Rovers?? Fusion?? Jaybirds???

Rye, I want some of that kool-aid!

What a nail biter, today. 11-8 Beantown

What, 19 pitchers (?) in the game for both teams. Thank God for September call up.

But what a great day, now I am getting ready to watch my beloved NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS!

Tribe is 7 games ahead of the Tigers in the Central! We play 4 games with the White Sox this week! Yay!!

Ok, New England won, Tom who? :)

Well the sox play the o's for 3 starting tonight

Then those yankees are in for 4. ( wish I could say, Yay!!) :(

Looks like everybody in the American League East is hunkered down around the Soxs with both

Baltimore and Toronto 2 games behind and the Jankees 4 games out. If they (Soxs) stumble, look out

below.

Think Tom Brady will need to dip into his savings?

New kid looked pretty good yesterday, and Tom is a bit long of tooth.

But that said, his record is impressive.

It is sort of what happened to Drew Bledshoe (sp?).

If I were Tommy, I would have been thinking some years ago, bout getting out of that game.

He can't want for much.

I think the spankees, are the biggest threat in the American League. (Hope I am wrong )

They have been chipping away all season, lurking around, sort of down, but not out.

The young guys that they have brought up, are driven, to prove that they should have come up sooner. Some good looking players.

Well, 1st. pitch is coming up. Get the popcorn popper set up and refresh my dark & stormy.

Good luck to your teams, as long they ain't playing my beloved Soxs.

Cubs look really good. What, they have about a 15 game lead?

Would like to see them play Boston.

Don't know what was up with Baltimore. They just looked sluggish. Wasn't a good game on their part.

But it was a win for Boston, we will take it.

As of this morning, the Chicago Cubs were at the top of the National League Central as follows,

St.Louis 17.0 games

Pittsburgh 22.5 games

Milwaukee 28.5 games

Cincinnati 31.0 games

At this stage of the game, I think we can count on the Cubs to be in the playoffs.

The Cubs are on a roll, have really been all season, I think they are for real, and will go all the way.

One thing you know, the Cubs know much about Boston and Cleveland.

Posted

I can see the Cubs as the National League winners.

WS is who ever gets the breaks and makes the plays.

But, we do not have a clear picture on the American League

as yet. Heck fire, we don't even have a clear picture on the

American League East as yet.

Texas and Cleveland look pretty solid though.

Was not what I wanted to see last night, but things remain basically the same.

Baltimore had Boston last night on the first pitch. Just felt it.

I will have to get some of those glue on fingernails, before this is over.

Love these tight races!

See that Toronto has already lost.

Think the spankees were winning their game.

Had fresh stuffed haddock for dinner.

Dishes in the automatic Hazel.

Just refreshed my dark & stormy.

Almost time for some baseball

Go Red Sox!!!

Posted

Just got the 2017 Floppers Schedule..

Badger, your misguided Cardinals play my beloved Red Sox on:

May 16 & 17 in Boston

August 15 & 16 in Saint Louis

Any predictions? I think someone will win

Yankees in town for 4 games.

Should be a good time! He says sarcastically.

Cubs could put their division away tonight.

Indians drop another to Chicago Sox.

I am a New England sports fan..we are always good for a drink or two...

Not till the bottom of the ninth.

As Robert E. Lee once said, " l hate Yankees to pieces!"

Well, the Cubbies have done some wonderful things this year.

They are the first team in both leagues to win a berth on the

playoffs, they won the National League Central Division title

and are on the fast track to having the best record in both leagues.

Congratulations to the Chicago Cubs.
