Shawnee McGrutt
Ok, New England won, Tom who? Well the sox play the o's for 3 starting tonight Then those yankees are in for 4. ( wish I could say, Yay!!)
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Looks like everybody in the American League East is hunkered down around the Soxs with both Baltimore and Toronto 2 games behind and the Jankees 4 games out. If they (Soxs) stumble, look out below. Think Tom Brady will need to dip into his savings? New kid looked pretty good yesterday, and Tom is a bit long of tooth. But that said, his record is impressive.
Shawnee McGrutt
It is sort of what happened to Drew Bledshoe (sp?). If I were Tommy, I would have been thinking some years ago, bout getting out of that game. He can't want for much. I think the spankees, are the biggest threat in the American League. (Hope I am wrong ) They have been chipping away all season, lurking around, sort of down, but not out. The young guys that they have brought up, are driven, to prove that they should have come up sooner. Some good looking players. Well, 1st. pitch is coming up. Get the popcorn popper set up and refresh my dark & stormy. Good luck to your teams, as long they ain't playing my beloved Soxs.
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
And the Chicago Cubs just keep rolling along. Looks like the Soxs dumped Baltimore tonight, but Toronto won.
Shawnee McGrutt
Cubs look really good. What, they have about a 15 game lead? Would like to see them play Boston. Don't know what was up with Baltimore. They just looked sluggish. Wasn't a good game on their part. But it was a win for Boston, we will take it. Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
As of this morning, the Chicago Cubs were at the top of the National League Central as follows, St.Louis 17.0 games Pittsburgh 22.5 games Milwaukee 28.5 games Cincinnati 31.0 games At this stage of the game, I think we can count on the Cubs to be in the playoffs. Shawnee McGrutt
The Cubs are on a roll, have really been all season, I think they are for real, and will go all the way. One thing you know, the Cubs know much about Boston and Cleveland.
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
I can see the Cubs as the National League winners. WS is who ever gets the breaks and makes the plays. But, we do not have a clear picture on the American League as yet. Heck fire, we don't even have a clear picture on the American League East as yet. Texas and Cleveland look pretty solid though.
Shawnee McGrutt
Was not what I wanted to see last night, but things remain basically the same. Baltimore had Boston last night on the first pitch. Just felt it. I will have to get some of those glue on fingernails, before this is over. Love these tight races! Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Well, according to the stats this morning, the Soxs are 2 games up on both Toronto and Baltimore. Close but at least they are sitting in the drivers seat. Playoffs should be interesting.
Shawnee McGrutt
See that Toronto has already lost. Think the spankees were winning their game. Had fresh stuffed haddock for dinner. Dishes in the automatic Hazel. Just refreshed my dark & stormy. Almost time for some baseball Go Red Sox!!!

Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
After this year's performance out of St. Louis, I don't have a clue. Still trying to dial in the sale of Budweiser to the Belgians and how that could possibly affect the Cardinals. Talk to me about it next April 1.
