Rifle is in excellent condition with no major scuff or dings that I can see. Has been shot but as per the condition did not see much CAS use. Sports checkered stock with the as nice of wood that I have ever seen on a Marlin on both sides, they are beautiful. Once piece firing pin, spring kit, big brass front site and lever wrap, no box or papers.. Gun feeds 200gr. bullets like butter and you don't even feel them chamber. This era of Marlin represents when they were turning out some very fine rifles with CAS"ers in mind. In talking with at least one Marlin "higher up" I don't believe they will ever produce a rifle like this again if they were to you would be hard pressed to match this one. Ready for the cowboy range or for a Wild Bunch shooter that is sick of blowing up 73's. $1275 shipped to your FFL and FFL must be willing to accept from a individual.
