Blacque Jacque Shellacque
Question. If you can shoot 38 special rounds in a 357 Mag, why have special fitted 38 special cylinders? Just trying to learn.
Goody, SASS #26190
Shooting 38 in a chamber for 357 allows a small amount of space for the bullet to jump, with perhaps an upsetting of bore alignment. This can cause deformation of the bullet, leading to less than optimal accuracy.
