An old movie line.

I watched an old western today that had a good line and I certainly like a good one liner. It went something like this, "That strange sound that woke you was your throat being cut". Since I am almost deaf, feel free to make it more exact and while you are at it, care to guess at the movie and the scene?

Missouri Breaks, end of the movie, Jack Nicholson to Marlon Brando,

Good movie. There were a couple of lines from Randy Quaid that I liked as well:

Something like:

I crossed the mighty Mo' and I want some credit!

I just don't want to get blamed!

Robert E. Lee Clayton.

One of Brando's more eccentric roles for sure. :D

I am sure I would have liked it even better had My headset been working. Was he making plans to get together with the ranchers daughter in the end. I could not make it out fer sure but I did get the impression thet they were making plans?? They also gave a whole new meaning to going on a horseback ride BUT what woulda happened if the horse got spooked by a rattler?
