Stunning photographs show the quintessential Western community of Pie Town, New Mexico as seen through the camera lens of Russell Lee. MrLee traveled to the area in October 1940 to capture images of farmersacross the country for the Farm Security Administration, a division ofthe Department of Agriculture. Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Thanks Joe. Pictures of CAN DO PEOPLE with MAKE DO SITUATIONS. Somewhere around here, I have a picture of my family at my Grandfather's farm, circa 1947 or so. We looked like a group from Tobacco Road. But you will never find another group of people that were as hard working, kind, and sharing as those people.
