787 - good plane, but troubles abound

Recommended Posts

We make tooling for some parts of the 787. Speciffically for composite material. Though we were enthused as many with it finally being in the air we are also dissappointed at the troubles they are going through.

Here is some insight as to the recent battery problem for those interested.

Hav'n worked with those types of batts. I can tell you they get VERY hot, VERY quick when charg'n.

LG

Dilitium Crystals are much better.

Some drawbacks too however.

Bunch of pansies,

pull the breakers, keep on flying, hold em in when you need them. You haven't flow until you have smoke in the cockpit and your keep stuff together with duct tape and wire. that's what separates pilots from system managers. ;)
