Judah MacAbee SASS #64095 Life
I'm selling my .44 Special Uberti 1866 for $950 FTF in Phoenix, AZ . I don't shoot it any more as I've gone exclusively to .44WCF. I cut the crescent buttplate off and refinshed the stock. It has a C&I action job with short stroke. (I think the short stroke is a generation 2). You can see it's not that short a throw, but it makes extraction and ejection much more positive. Thanks Judah Sorry no pictures at this time

Judah MacAbee SASS #64095 Life
What barrel lenth? About how many rounds thru the rifle? Why did you take the crescent off? 20" barrel-its a short rifle used it 3 times a month for about 3 years until I got my 73, then maybe once a quarter until I ran out of BP loads for it so maybe a total of 8,000 rounds? The crescent and my shoulder didn't agree. I've taken it off all my rifles
