Marty Mudd Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Pards, For my general knowledge: what is the difference; XR3 or XR3-RED ?
Marlin Buckhorn,SASS 51727 Posted October 25, 2012 Author Posted October 25, 2012 Marty The XR3 or XR-3 Is for the "New Vaquero" as opposed to the XR3-Red which is for the bigger "Original Vaquero". The XR3-Red will also bolt up to the 32 H&R Single Six giving you the longer grip frame of the "Original Vaquero" which is what I am trying to do. My experience has been that the XR3 grip frame will bolt up to the holes on the frame. But two problems exist, "one" the grip frame doesn't match up in height on the frame and "two" there is a problem cocking the revolver. Others may have different experiences and this answer could be similar to your alias and be, clear as "Mudd" Hope this helps some, Marlin
Marlin Buckhorn,SASS 51727 Posted October 25, 2012 Author Posted October 25, 2012 Sourdough, Sent you a PM Marlin
