pfouts
Pard of mine is trying to find parts for a Pietta 1860 Army. I have no idea where to tell him to look. Anyone got any suggestions?

Tom Bullweed
I have had a hand, trigger spring and screws for my 1851 ordered since mid-Sept. from VTI. They said that these parts are on backorder and should be in by mid-Nov. I contacted Dixie Gunworks and Numrich with no success. Good thing that I am not shooting the SE regional this year. VTI is probably your best option, but I am confused how any major distributor can be out of parts in this economy where we are more likely to fix a gun than replace it! Call Cimmaron....they do carry parts for a lot of guns including open tops.
