El Muerto Negro
Hi Guys I'm thinking my next shotgun will be a sxs without hammers(I have a TTN and a EEA Bounty Hunter). So what should I look at, who would you have do the work and why? Thanks El Muerto Negro
Doc Fill 'Em 67797
Get ready for a lot of responses! Lots of ways to skin that cat. If money is no object, get an SKB or BSS from Johnny Meadows, Colt McCallister, or Goatneck Clem. If the budget is a little less extravagent, a slicked-up Baikal from any of the same 'smiths. Third option, a slicked-up Stoeger.
Randy Saint Eagle, SASS # 64903
Also Roughneck Rod does SKB's I think he has taken over what Dirt Merchant did and is doing a mechanical trigger conversion. At least that is what I understand. Randy
Anvil Al #59168
Yep. What they said. If ya got the coin. Go with a SKB or BBS from any of the good smiths mentioned. $1,200-$1,400 bucks most the time. Unless you just find a real good deal. If not. The Baikal double trigger is a good option slicked up around $500 bucks. Gunslinger does a real good job on those Baikal's. Can find some good used ones sometimes even cheaper. Slow Poke Joe
what is a mechanical trigger conversion? El Muerto Negro The trigger no longer requires that a shot be fired to reset to fire the second shot. This can be important, especially for some one who shoots without sholdering the gun - not enough recoil to reset the trigger.
