Dusty Balz, SASS#46599
There's an old saying about bailing out or crashing an airplane, "give it back to the tax payers/insurance companies, as long as everyone walks out okay, it's a good day. Charlie Harley, #14153
What Dusty said! Give the crew a round of drinks and a ceegar for that one. And a clean pair of shorts.
Uno Mas SASS #80082
Yow! Talk about a high pucker factor. GREAT job by the crew. Looks and sounds expensive too... Actually... the damage isn't usually too bad. Especially when the pilot greases it in. Belly skins and nacelles will have to be replaced, but that's about it. The Mickey-D planes were even designed to make recovery from a belly landing as easy as possible.
