Subdeacon Joe Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Civil War Days Revisited at Kearney Park. Friday is the school day, so we get to warp impressionable little minds. If you happen to wander by, I'll be with the CS artillery. I'll be the one with a beard, wearing grey.
Whiskey Business Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Have a safe trip, Joe. Oh, and right color.
Four-Eyed Buck,SASS #14795 Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Don't blow up too much of the town, Joe I've still got relatives living there. My Dad was from there originally
Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967 Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Are you there for the weekend, Joe? Or just Friday? I'm going on Saturday with Ms Brimstone's Cub Scout pack... If you're still there I'll definitely mosey on over! Looking forward to the "Twilight Battle!" Muskets and cannons against a darkening sky... Wow! By the way... I'm getting "vibes" that this may be a much smaller event than years past. I hope not...

If you have a video camera, bring it and tape the night battle. And the last few years there have been fireworks that included guns from both sides. Not sure if that will happen this year. If you are there, look for the Norfolk Light Artillery. I'll be wearing what you see in my avatar. Miss Whiskey, thank you. Buck, I have kin there too. One of my brothers.
