I don't trust the reporting of these things because they usually make a big deal out of a minor thing. But there is concern for folks in trouble.

OH! hello .... I'm ok, .... just gettin' rained on. Bad stuff happening around Grafton in New South Wales .... about 3hours drive north of me. AND let us not forget about Southern Queensland, ... flooding right through CBD of Brisbane (state capital) ........ bad juju ... ALSO further up the Queensland coastal strip around Gympie and still further to Rockhampton.

I too, complain about the black helicopters that fly around my house at night. They are noisy, but the little disk thingys with all the flashing lights are worse. On a more serious note, yes, some people complain just to hear their own voice. It makes them feel important.
