  1. There is more to life in the shooting world than SASS. Regardless, the Henry May not be great for this game but for the average shooter in the rest of the world they have a following and they get good reviews.
  2. Good idea OLG. I reported my post and asked that it be pinned. I would hate for someone not to know about this and have an accident.
  3. some light humor... How many psychiatrists does it take to change a lightbulb? Only one, but the bulb has got to really want to change. How many chiropractors does it take to change a lightbulb? One one, but it takes six visits. How many editors of Poor Richard’s Almanac does it take to change the light bulb? “Many hands make light work.” How many fatalists does it take to screw in a light bulb? What does it matter? We’re all gonna die anyway. How many existentialists does it take to screw in a lightbulb? One to screw it in and one to observe how the lightbulb itself symbolizes a single incandescent beacon of subjective reality in a netherworld of endless absurdity reaching out toward the maudlin cosmos of nothingness. How many Redditors does it take to screw in a lightbulb? One to do it, post it, and not get credit for it; one to repost it as they did it; and one to state that the video is actually fake and it never happened. How many people does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Just two… but they have to be reeeeaaally tiny.
  4. I always donate to Toys for Tots. Kids everywhere need a Christmas. I hope there’s a motorcycle run this year for Toys for Tots in my area. It’s a “cool” thing to do in more ways than one. I also love Angel Trees and donating in that way as well. I grew up poor. Having toys under the tree was very special and in a small way I like making kid’s Christmas’s special if I can.
  5. Bite your tongue! If God didn’t want us to eat meat he wouldn’t have made it taste so good. I do love vegans though...more meat for me. For your Thanksgiving viewing pleasure
  6. I am thinking they kind of do pricing like Ruger. Higher MSRP than real world pricing. I bought a Henry Single Shot 45-70 from Cabela’s for $369.90 a couple of years ago but Henry’s MSRP was and is $510. https://www.henryusa.com/rifles/single-shot-rifle/ Same rifle at Cabela’s is now $399. https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/henry-single-shot-rifle
  7. I actually thought I was going to find a neat sandwich recipe for my wife. She loves Reuben Sandwiches.
  8. Thank you Joe and Happy Thanksgiving For those that go not know, Bodie is an old mining town in California that is now a state park / museum. The whole town is fairly intact as it was many years ago. It’s definitely worth a trip to visit. Don’t let the Spartan website fill you. It’s a very cool place to visit. https://www.bodie.com/ http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=509 https://www.monocounty.org/places-to-go/bodie/
  9. I somehow overlooked Sweet Tea. I used to also drink a lot of that off and on through periods of my life. About 10 years ago I got Gout. I thought I had figured out what caused my flare ups and all was well. Then a few years ago Gout came back with a vengeance. One of my mainstay drinks was Sweet Tea. I stopped drinking because I thought it was a Gout contributor and I was trying to lose weight. I don’t think the tea had anything to do with the Gout but I never went back to drinking it. I may have to rethink my drink selections again.
  10. I have never been much of a hot tea drinker. I just never really enjoyed it unless it was sweet and sweetened by sugar. I do not like honey. It makes my teeth tingle and affects my breathing. No exaggeration. For many years I have drank black coffee in the mornings and beer and whiskey in the afternoon. Never been much for drinking soda or fruity flavored drinks. I quit drinking alcohol a few years ago. Now my mainstay is water, ice water to be exact. If I have ice, I am happy to drink water. I still drink strong black coffee in the mornings and water the rest of the time. I do have a Pepsi every week or so. Cannot stand Coke or any other sodas. Coffee and ice water...thrills and chills. Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving.
  11. Or maybe “Holy Crap Will You All Focus”? I kind of like this all weather model. I think a .45 Colt model would be pretty cool. https://www.henryusa.com/rifles/big-boy-all-weather-side-gate/ I do kind of like the carbine with that big loop lever. No, not for CAS...just because.
  12. I heard they were coming. I have yet to shoot one of their Big Boys.
  13. Why would you post a greeting like that to yourself? Weird...
  14. Yep. Both. March on Washington. Armed or not, but arms standing by. It’s obvious the ballot box is a joke. “They” want to “fundamentally change America”. I say “No!” It’s time all the boys flying Gadsden Flags and those that talk big put their butts in gear and not their 4x4s and their big mouths and stand! It’s time we all stand and quit wringing our flippin’ hands believing another $20 to the NRA or CRBKA, or what lever the hell acronyms are the flavor of the week, will accomplish anything. We’ve done this the civil way long enough.
  15. If gun owners don’t rise up and fight they can all go to hell, in my opinion. Everyone makes a lot of noise and bluster then they just b!tch and roll over. If we don’t fight we deserve what we get.
  16. Interesting. Thank you. Regardless, I got my wish. They leave me alone.
  17. Did you see how that puppy kept an eye on the water as they walked near the pond later in the video? Poor dog will probably never want a bath after that experience.
