  1. I go between 180 and 200 depending on what i want to do with it, that's why I love the 10mm, if you reload, it can pretty much be the jack of all trades round...some of the self defense 165s like Barnes copper hp or gold dots going around 1400fps-NASTY!
  2. That's why this nice gun is up for sale..lol,I need money!
  3. Ok gang, was up as a piar, the acp sold. Shot it today, it shoots fantastic, 7 yards isn't worth shooting as they all go thru same ragged hole. Wasting ammo..Very accurate gun. Magnum Research 1911 10mm.. Comes with 1 wilson combat 9rd mag. 600.00 shiped to your ffl. Conus only, no CA, sorry. First "I will take it " beats tire kickers.
  4. Ok,someone buy this dam thing before I get crazy and sell a kidney
  5. 16in Alpo? Even I'm not that big of a masochist...I love the big boomera but that is a lot, the 18in barrel sounded good, for about a minute,lol...I'm thinking it will b somewhere near my 50-90 from the shoulder, maybe not. I been reloading for 30 years so I can do about anything with the 45-70..got plenty of the 405s and 500 hard cast,
  6. Of course I'm in!!!! Isn't that army officer "dan" his enemy from Yellowstone?? I bet we see a couple crossovers
  7. And unfortunately, I usually learn the hard way..I can hack a barrel and even crown a little but I sure as heck don't have the patience to dovetail ..a man's got to know his limitations as the poet once said
  8. I think a little heavy barrel carbine might be nice
  9. Ok pards, For reason I only understand, I an looking, if it's even possible, to cut down a barrel on a 45-70 sharps. Say 32 inches to the carbine length of 22ish to make a carbine. First, I think it's possible? Long 32 in octagon is too much barrel,I got a few of those already. If done right, might make a cool carbine bush handy rifle. If so, any gunsmith that could cut and crown this type of rifle? I know, look and buy a carbine but this project interests me,lol...what says rogues gallery?

    45-90

Buffalo arms actually had black powder 45-90 cartridges for sale. Not sure if they still do.
  11. Our dogs get girardia occasionally from drinking dirty water here on the farm....good dose of metronidazole works very well.
  12. 1200 for both shipped, then off to gun show
  13. It's probably the cowboy gun rejecting that horrible European caliber......also, sass needs lead, gonna need to reload or buy lead 9mm ifn ya was to shoot that thing at a match
  14. Excellent buyer, fast payment and great comm.....!! Real good pard to deal with!
  15. Sell it here, I'm sure it will sell in a minute, get the one you want.....work smarter not harder
  16. You thought you could only have one????? Oh my, welcome to the madness
  17. I have 2, uberti makes awesome guns....only problem I ever had was the front sight fell off of one. The ram rod under the barrel drops if you use full loads but that was a failing common to the original as well. Someone showed me the small rubber bands ,like hair tie type, black, put over the rod and barrel after loading, works like a charm. I have plans on shooting Pale Rider gunfighter with them both one of these days. I'm earing my Wheaties first.
  18. 1300 for both shipped....let's try that!
  19. Lol,that's not it but that is extremely cool!!!+
  20. Kinda plain looking likke a 87 lever gun, maybe it was 50-110...driving me crazy...I WILL NOT REST DAMMIT..
  21. The 76 lever came in a 50-95..that's not the one, maybe I'm tetched in the head. I swear I remember one being sold here, had a bunch of brass, had a weird name like ranger or marshall...ok,maybe I needs to look a little further. Ya, PWB, I got me one of those a while back, maybe I need to lay off the rottgut..I'm gonna keep searching
  22. Ya I tried to weed out of the 45-70 crap, I know I've seen one here, someone had one for sale
  23. It's called separation of witnesses , always. To keep them from hearing each other testify
