  1. The Padres gave up only 1 2 run home run in the first. The others were on doubles. Not that it makes much difference. I’ll be at EOT next week and my pard Buck Garrett and I will take in a game or two while we’re there.
  2. Padres have scored 2 runs in 2 games and given up 18 runs. Glad these games don’t count.
  3. Yes it is and on Sunday evening March 3rd you won’t even know it was there.
  4. That’s what I thought, thank you.
  5. Same here, I wash nickel and regular brass together all of the time and it all comes out shiny.
  6. Howdy EOT attendees, I’d like to sell a couple of items at the EOT Swap Meet on Thursday evening and would like a small space on someone’s table if that isn’t against the rules. Anybody know if this is okay? If so anyone want to share some space?
  7. Safe travels, Tell. Don’t over do it.
  8. You oughta be in the SASS Hall Of Fame, great job!!!
  9. I’m sure we’ll talk.
  10. Watching Cat TV on a rainy day, she has sure mellowed out since she’s been doing this. She brought a little mouse in the house this morning and turned it loose before I could catch it. It’ll get trapped tonight. She has learned not to touch the screen and mess up her videos. IMG_4805.mov
  11. The retainer screw in the picture is problematic in that if it loosens up and you don’t catch it in time to tighten it it will gall out the threaded hole that it’s mounted in and then it won’t tighten up. Here’s what I did to permanently repair the one on my 9000. I drilled the mounting hole clear through the charge bar using a 3/16” bit. I used a 1 1/2” button head 10x24 bolt with 2 Nylock washers to replace the factory retainer screw. The one picture is with it installed and then the hole drilled through and the screw assembly. When you install it tighten the inner locking nut and screw and then install the outer nut with enough room for the spring loop and tighten, you’ll never have to worry about it loosening up. I had to chuck up the screw in a drill and using a bench grinder grind the head about 1/8” smaller around so that it would fit in the webbing of the charge bar.
  12. I always keep an extra one of those on hand.
  13. There’s a difference between luck and skill.
  14. I plan on being there about 6:00am.
  15. Minnesota Clay and I will be running the Cart corral at EOT again this year. We’ll be open Monday the 26th right behind Bay #4. If you’d like to store your cart overnight we can do that too, but you have to take your guns with you. Stop by and visit awhile if you’ve got the time, we’ll have the fire pit going until the sunshine takes over. See you there.
  16. It looks like Hell’s Comin, The Weatherman has come through again this year. He needs a raise.
  17. She found it on you tube. She says there’s a bunch of them. The first few she tried to get her to watch were cats and kittens and dogs and puppies but she wasn’t interested. When the bird, squirrel and chipmunk videos come on she’s enthralled for the evening.
  18. Our cat has become very cranky in her old age and will quite often bite or claw you when you try to stop petting her. One of my wife’s friends suggested playing a bird or other small animal video and get her to watch it and it might calm her aggressiveness down. Well we’ve been doing it for a little over a week now every evening and she has calmed down a lot, no biting or trying to claw after being petted. If you listen closely you can hear her chatting with the birds and chipmunks. IMG_4780.mov
  19. Reba did a fine job on our national anthem.
  20. I didn’t really have a favorite in this game but I found it very entertaining. Had a hunch that the Chiefs would pull it out and they did with a few seconds left.
  21. You may be correct, PR, I just visited their website and I didn’t see anything about power tool battery rebuilds.
