Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967 Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 Dropped into Bass Pro last Sunday ~ "Black Friday Weekend" deals abounded! (Me in the reflection ) Ya gotta love a good sale!
Texas Maverick Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 That is called a fire sale in CA. You should see them flock the stores to buy it. LOL I had a teacher in high school tell us a story one time. His parents owned a small mom and pop grocery store in a small town in Oklahoma. They were trying to sell the last of some apple cider that they had left in stock. They marked it at $2.00 a jug. They tried this for 2 weeks without selling a single jug. Then they marked it with a large On Sale sign, normally $4.00 now half price at only $2.00. Sold all the remaining stock they had in a couple of hours. People just want to think they are getting a bargain I guess. LOL TM
Cheyenne Ranger, 48747L Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 pears for $2 each or a dozen for $25
sassnetguy50 Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 Better to pay full price for quality than half price for disposable products
