WOLFY
Since modern .44-40 bores are the same as .44spl, it wasn’t that much of a chore for Boomstick Jay to cutoff the back 5” of bbl and form a Russian chamber for it. He also added a set screw to my carrier and notched the bolt. Edited September 1 by WOLFY

bgavin
I also have an interest in 44 Russian, but for plinkers and light loads. I was on the Starline Brass waiting list for an actual 12 months, until I finally gave up.

I've about 660 Starline cases left (plus another 500 I bought a couple years ago from when Top Brass was disco'ing their 44 Russian). I load 'em to the same fps I get from 44 spl. I got an email from Starline a bit ago that they've got various .44 types in stock again. Edited September 1 by WOLFY
