I want to ship an old Colt to a gunsmith and I don’t want to break any laws. I see this ad for ShipMyGuns and have never heard of them

A commonly used service today, what with the chaos in laws concerning transporting and selling guns.  Have not yet heard of a disaster using them.

good luck, GJ

Been using SMG for a while.  As long as the receiving FFL is registered with them, everything has gone well.  It’s nice to be able to just drop the package off at the UPS Customer Service Center.  If your dealer is not registered with them, it’s a simple process.

This. No issues for me other than driving by all the UPS dealers to the UPS Service Center an hour away.

In my county, UPS recently closed their Customer Service window at their depot, so I wouldn't be able to use SMG's services...I'm betting UPS wants to increase profits by scaling down customer service even more, especially in rural areas.
