Prairie Dawg, SASS #50329
I'm sure many of you have this, but, for those who don't here it is. These dimensions were measured by Mako in 2011 & published in his excellent article. "Percussion Caps and Nipples" Every serious cap gunner should have this article saved in his files for future reference, --Dawg Percussion Caps and Nipples.pdf 1
Warden Callaway
My comparison of Remington #10 and CCI #11 differ from the chart.
Rooster Ron Wayne
I use Remington #10 for my Percussion Pistols & Remington #11 for my Cap Lock Pedersoli Rifle . Thankfully I have a large supply in my backup stock. I have Not seen any for sale in quite a while now .
Eyesa Horg
I use Rem 11s on my muzzleloader and my 1860s with TOW nipples. Due to the Rem shortage, I'm now using CCI 11s on the muzzleloader. But they won't clear the recoil shield on the pistols due to the compound being all on one side of the cup. Hope the Rems come back soon!!
