I think the bride either had been to that dance school or was one of the owners. Going on memory there and a different person's posting of it. Here is some dancing at a reception in Healdsburg CA, just ordinary people, not rehearsed, but a close knit ethnic community in which the kids are brought up learning the dances If you search YouTube for kolomeyka you can find a fair number of videos, and in some of them you can see around the edges moms teaching toddlers the steps. When the bride and little un came out it looked like the opening jig to a 2 hand reel, in my mis spent youth I learned ceilidh dancing from a fairly successful teaching family with lots of awards.
