Persimmon Dan, SASS #42428
I needed some parts for an older 97 that I wanted to shoot some and was having some difficulty finding them. A friend told me to contact Frank Casella at F & D Gunsmithing at St Charles, Mo. It turns out that he has a fairly extensive inventory of parts for that gun. So if anyone needs to acquire any you might call him at 636 357 3139.
Widder, SASS #59054
Frank is a great feller and good to deal with. Outlaw Gambler is also another well known and reputable 97 man with parts and service, etc..... ..........Widder

"Big Boston"
I had to smile at when you called it an "older '97". Just over 1 million production and half of those were made prior to the Model 12 coming out. The "newer" ones were made in the 1950's. I just bought a 1913 takedown, online auction, and it was a surprise. I have a small stash of parts and I wanted to keep track of what parts I was using to get it running. I've always found Gunparts (Numrich) to be fairly reliable. I've ordered parts several times and no issues. YMMV but this is what I needed. Part Desc. U$D a: Magazine Band $26.37 b: Adjusting sleeve $65.62 c: Reciever shank $9.08 e: Guard bow $43.06 f: Stock, Butt $70.00 g: Magazine Follower $7.32 h: Mainspring $20.80 Total Cost Parts $242.
