2020 was difficult in so many ways, including not being able to host our competitors and guests at the Oasis Hotel in Springfield, Missouri for a banquet, Casino Night, and dancing to a live band.  This year the Southern Missouri Rangers are once again able to offer this traditional party on Friday evening between the main match rounds on Friday and Saturday morning.  The Missouri State Cowboy Action Shooting Championship is only a month away, September 23 (side matches) and September 24-25 for the Main Match.  Please get your registration in now so we can plan meals and prepare awards.

Looking forward to a return to a little more normal!  :D

I talked with Gunsmith Frank at our match yesterday and he plans to be there with his mobile gunsmith shop.  Sawmill Mary and I will probably come and hobnob one day.

Sawmill Mary and I showed up at the Show-Me Shootout to hobnob and rub elbows. It was a beautiful day and we were happy to enjoy it with friends.

Sawmill Mary kept the paper scores and I watched the unloading table for Posse 4. I took some video and pictures.  I strung it together with a minimum of editing because I didn't get near all of it or everyone's names.  Here is what I got.

Was a Fun Time. And thank you and Mary for helping out Posse 4 Friday.  All of us from Gateway Shootist Society, the Arnold Mo. Club took home wood!  Like always made some New Friend.

From a reliable source,  all my rowdy friends won!

You captured the rowdy cowgirl in purple quite well in your video!

Maybe it was the smoke?  I'm not sure she could have passed a sobriety test.
