Also do I need a different main spring or different any internals? And last question, would you be willing to split them? I would only be interested in one. Ace Hanlon Posted August 19, 2021 Share Posted August 19, 2021 I replaced the birds head grip frames on my new model single six Rugers with old model grip frames which are the same as used on Ruger Old Armys. This was because of the notches which go into the grip panels. However, I do know some cowboys have installed new model grip frames on single sixes.
